Another fabulous weekend here at Tolcarn. The camping out bug is well and truly here, with Carolyn and Ed and their son Charlie camping up here over the weekend from Landsend Astronomers. Stephen Stangroom and his family visited on Friday and have advanced their STEM involvement with the meeting of Alex Ledbrooke from the STEM program. Clear skies on Saturday night allowed Carolyn to look through the Meade 14 inch, and observed, M13 The Great Globular cluster in Hercules, The Ring Nebula, Andromeda, with Mizar and Alcor thrown in for good measure, then sitting outside under the clearest of skies having a coffee just enjoying the Milky Way. What a truly civilised weekend it was here at Tolcarn. May there be many more.
